Sorry, not going to give Ruff any credit...

First star of the game was our goalie --- thats not Lindy Ruff, take a bow Benoit Allaire!

I know we have no reason to be fair, but there was a span of like 3 powerplays when the Devils didn't even get a shot

the penalty kill has improved a lot and Ruff deserves some credit, if you want to be fair

It didn't matter but that major on Kreider was a bit much, penalty yes but a 5?! And what about the instigator for the Devils there as they jumped him

yeah, it was ridiculous, I can't believe they actually reviewed the major and didn't change their call

Devils just suck, PK Subban is an absolute shell of his former self

Nashville made out like bandits getting rid of him and not keeping any of that money

Reports out of Canada saying Rangers had a deal with Oilers for Puljujarvi last week. Deal collapsed because Oilers asking too much. Lias Andersson was sent down to Hartford around time deal fell through -- I doubt that is a coincidence. Teams have until 5 pm today Eastern to acquire him AND get him under contract or he can't play this season in NHL.
Lets see if Gorton can work his magic...

Trouba was hitting every time he was on the ice. Dude plays with a chip on his shoulder and doesn't back down. He even took out a linesman!

That call was terrible.
Adding Subban and Simmonds this off season wasn't Shero's finest moment. At least they can walk away from Simmonds at the end of the season. Subban's contract however, WOOF!

I see that you found it, but I originally saw it posted on Forever Blue Shirts, so I have to give credit where it is due.

This season + 2 more for Schneider and Subban. I imagine Devils looking for another high pick this year and maybe the year after. Then Hughes and those two picks will be ready to boost their team? We'll see.

Forgot about Schneider's demotion, maybe that lights a fire.
Have to think they try to move Hall at the TDL.
I think we will be better sooner than the Devils, we seem to finally have a deeper talent pool.

As much as it sucks Panarin didn't keep his streak going, good to see the team producing without him. Need that balance

It's so much fun to just have that feeling he's scoring everytime (goal or assist) he's out there, oozing with talent.

Yup. It's almost like every time he is out there the line has a prime scoring chance. Now with Chytil back and playing great and Zib back, I think the team could start to become a group for the future

Fun watching when your team is winning, just that we were in that Boston game was a plus, still frustrating to blow a 2 goal lead but at least we got a point. Let's keep growing and compete for that last playoff spot and it's a good season. Playoffs somehow obviously would be gravy
